There have also been rumors on and off about the different smartphones in the series. A recent report now talks about the RAM option in the Ultra model. If the report is anything to go by, users will be able to avail the memory upgrade they have been waiting for in the Ultra smartphone.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra may come with 16 GB of RAM as the starting option. If not, the handset will have a 16 GB option along with the 12 GB variant. Moreover, this RAM upgrade will he applicable worldwide, thereby allowing users across the globe to take advantage of the extra RAM.

A graph by Macquarie Research shared by tipster Jukanlosreve on the X platform shows that the 16 GB of RAM option will be supported in most markets, if not globally.
Interestingly, the S25 Ultra is available with 16 GB RAM only in the Korean, Taiwanese, and Chinese markets. In other countries, buyers have to be content with 12 GB of RAM. This is not the first Ultra smartphone to come with a 16 GB of RAM option. In the past, the Galaxy S20 Ultra and S21 Ultra also offered this RAM.

Samsung is known to be a step ahead of its rival Apple. The Cupertino giant is expected to take a leap by offering a RAM upgrade of 12 GB in its upcoming lineup. If Samsung wants to continue leading the race, it will have to pep up the game and offer 16 GB of RAM. The brand has always gained an upper hand over Apple with respect to the RAM capacity.
If the manufacturer follows the same trend as in the past, we can expect the Galaxy S26 series to see the light of day early next year in January.
