Samsung is working on its Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 along with the Galaxy S flagship of smartphones.
Details of the two handsets have leaked in the past including the possibility of two Z Fold 7 variants. The manufacturer is reported to have made some noteworthy hardware upgrades to the handsets.
Larger Screens in Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7
Among the various hardware enhancements, one significant improvement will be related to the size of the displays of the Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7. Going by what a prominent industry insider Ross Young has to report, the smartphones will have displays that are larger in size than their predecessors.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to come with a 4-inch cover screen on the outside and a foldable 6.85-inch screen on the inside. The extra real estate on the cover screen should allow users to operate work on the full-fledged apps without having to unfold the handset. In contrast, the Z Flip 6 had cover and foldable screens of 3.4 inches and 6.7 inches respectively.
As for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the handset is anticipated to draw its inspiration from the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition for the screen size. It is anticipated to have an 8-inch foldable screen and a cover screen of 6.7 inches.

It is speculated that the bigger screen size will allow the manufacturer to opt for batteries of higher capacities in its handsets. Also, going by earlier leaks, it is slated that the Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip under their hoods. If this is true, the smartphones are bound to offer better efficiency and performance than the present-generation foldables that house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 are reported to arrive as a summer release in 2025 by the manufacturer.
