Galaxy Z Flip 7 Tipped to be Powered by an Exynos 2500 Processor

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 has been in the news off and on even as Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming flagship S25 series.

The latest leak reveals the manufacturer’s choice of processor for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphone.

First Samsung Foldable with an Exynos Chip

According to the report cited above, Samsung will incorporate its upcoming Exynos 2500 processor in the Z Flip 7. The report claims that this information has been confirmed by a high-ranking official employed with the company.

If so, this will be the first foldable handset to do away with a Qualcomm processor that has always been the manufacturer’s go-to option for its flip and fold smartphones to date.

Expected Galaxy Z Flip 7 Specifications

Going by the past rumors about the Z Flip 7, the smartphone will have bigger displays when compared to its predecessor. The cover display will have a size of 4 inches while the folding display will be sized at 6.85 inches.

In the camera department, the handset is likely to not be any different from the earlier Galaxy Z Flip 6. The rear cameras will be a main shooter and an ultra-wide shooter with 50 MP and 12 MP resolutions respectively whereas the front-facing camera will portray a 10 MP resolution.

While there is no information about the battery, it is only safe to assume that the smartphone will have at least a 4000 mAh battery with 25 W charging support like the earlier Z Flip 6.

Based on the consistent pricing strategies adopted by Samsung for its Galaxy Z Flip handsets in the past, it is slated that the Z Flip 7 will have a starting price of approximately USD 1099. The launch is anticipated to take place in the summer of next year in July 2025 or August 2025.
