The rumor mill has let out several details about Samsung’s foldables, comprising the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Z Fold 7, and Z Flip FE in the recent past.
However, there have been speculations about the choice of processor in the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The most recent leak now seems to have an answer to this question.
Processor Choice
The report is from Hangkyung, an outlet based in Korea. The outlet states that the brand will opt for the in-house Exynos processor as well as the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset from Qualcomm. However, the Exynos 2500 processor will be exclusively reserved for smartphones sold in the home country. Outside South Korea, the handset will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

If this is true, global users will benefit greatly from the brand’s decision. This is because the Exynos processor is not likely to be as stable as its Snapdragon counterpart. The top-tier Snapdragon chipset also outperforms the Dimensity 9400 SoC from MediaTek.
Both Exynos and Snapdragon processors perform day-to-day tasks like gaming, streaming, and scrolling without glitches. However, the Snapdragon SoC is bound to win the race when it comes to performance, battery life, and heating under heavy loads.
Other Rumored Z Flip 7 Specs
The clamshell smartphone will have a 6.85-inch display on the inside. The outer display will have a size of 4 inches. The bezels will be thinner than those of the predecessor.

The Z Flip 7 will draw its juice from a 4,174 mAh battery. Its 3C certification listing points out that the foldable will not be accompanied by a charger.
The handset will come with Android 16 topped with the manufacturer’s One 8 UI installed out of the box.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will break cover in June or July 2025 along with the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 FE.
