Samsung is actively working on adding more smartphones to its foldables, the latest in works including the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
While the former is touted to be a budget-friendly offering, the latter will be a premium flagship. The latest leak of the two smartphones mentions the chipsets housed under their hoods.
Processor Details of Galaxy Z Flip FE and Galaxy Z Flip 7
According to the leak by tipster Jukanlosreve on the popular X platform, both smartphones will be equipped with the manufacturer’s processors.
The Galaxy Z Flip E will incorporate the manufacturer’s Exynos 2400e processor. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will house a more advanced Exynos 2500 processor. He goes on to add that while there are talks that the flagship will feature an Exynos 2400 chipset, he does not think this would be so.

As the tipster has not mentioned anything about the processor of the Z Fold 7, the smartphone may be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset like all other foldables from the manufacturer so far.
Exynos 2400e and Exynos 2500
The Exynos 2400e is a downclocked variant of the standard Exynos 2400 processor that was used by the manufacturer in the predecessor Galaxy S24 FE. However, the chipset is known for its ability to perform everyday tasks effectively, thereby striking a perfect balance between cost-effectiveness and performance.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be the first smartphone from Samsung to use the Exynos 2500 processor with 10 cores comprising three powerful Cortex-X925 cores, two energy-saving Cortex-A520 cores, and five efficient Cortex-A725 cores. The processor will also be integrated with an Xclipse 950 GPU for immersive and smooth gaming experiences. It is yet to be determined how the Exynos chipset will perform when compared to the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
