Samsung has been reported to have been working on the Galaxy Z Flip FE for quite some time now.
The Galaxy Z Flip FE smartphone is touted to be an affordable smartphone from Samsung. A recent report shares some interesting insights about the upcoming handset.
Expected Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE Specifications
While the manufacturer remains tight-lipped about the specifications, a post by an industry insider and leading tech analyst Ross Young mentions that the smartphone will have a typical clamshell design. The report also hints that the handset will feature the same display that the manufacturer has opted for in the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
For the Z Flip FE, Samsung may cut corners by opting for an older or lower-end chipset and inferior cameras. There is no report at all about what cameras would be used in the smartphone. Regarding the processor, while it may be a good choice for the manufacturer to consider opting for its Exynos 2400 or Exynos 2400e chipset, it may be recalled that the processor will be over one year old when it is used in the flip-style smartphone. Hence, going by some earlier claims, it is likely that Samsung will launch the Z Flip FE with its upcoming Exynos 2500 processor.

It is yet to be known if the Z Flip FE will be exclusive for the home market and released only in South Korea or will be launched globally in other countries as well. However, as the manufacturer has opted for a global launch of almost all its foldable smartphones so far, the handset will likely see the light of day outside South Korea.
Samsung is anticipated to release the Z Flip FE at its Galaxy Unpacked event. If this happens, we can hope to see the smartphone getting released in the latter part of next year in August 2025. If the handset finds its way to India, the handset is slated to be priced at around INR 70,000.
