Several details have surfaced about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the past. Two separate leaks have now emerged about the smartphone regarding its display technology and processor.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 Display Technology
Going by a post on the X platform by tipster PandaFlashPro, the display software of the Z Fold 7 will incorporate ProScaler technology. Interestingly, the manufacturer has adopted this technology in its latest set of flagships, the Galaxy S25 series. According to the manufacturer, this technology will enhance the image quality and allow the handset to deliver lifelike images.

The post also states that the smartphone has a peak brightness of 2600 nits. Interestingly, the predecessor Galaxy Z Fold 6 also features the same peak brightness.
Z Fold 7 Processor
In another post on the same platform, the tipster claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip under the hood. There were speculations earlier that the handset would equip the manufacturer’s Exynos 2500 chipset.

The smartphone will also feature 12 GB RAM and support storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.

The same post also mentions that the Z Flip 7 will come with 12 GB RAM and storage choices of 256 GB and 512 GB. There is no mention of the processor in this foldable.
Expected Galaxy Z Fold7 Specifications
The handset will have an 8-inch main display and a 6.5-inch cover display. Both screens will have LTPO AMOLED 2X displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its cover screen will feature a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 while the folding screen will incorporate flexible glass.
The Z Fold 7 will have a 200 MP primary wide-angle camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom on the back. On the front, there will be a 10 MP snapper.

The smartphone will encompass a 4,400 mAh battery with support for 25 W wired charging, 15 W wireless charging, and 4.5 W reverse wireless charging.
The Z Fold 7 will run on Android 15 and be topped with the manufacturer’s One UI 7 interface.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to break cover in early-to-mid July 2025 with a price range of USD 1899.99 to USD 2259.99.
