The Galaxy Z Trifold is one of the many smartphones currently being discussed in the rumor circle.
While a recent leak highlighted the charging capabilities of the foldable, another talked about the handset’s design, specs, and UI features.
A new ET News report claims that the brand will unveil the Z TriFold in October 2025, while actual sales will commence a month later in November. However, only 50,000 units will make their way to production.

Samsung justifies the limited numbers with two reasons. The first reason is that it wants to assess how users would welcome the new form factor. Also, the limited numbers will help the manufacturer to avoid running into stock clearance issues. The second reason is that the brand does not want the trifolding smartphone to overpower its Z Fold 7, which is doing very well in the market right now and sabotage its sales.
Rumored Galaxy Z TriFold Design and Specs
As the name indicates, the handset will depict three sections connected by two hinges. All the sections will fold inwards, which improves the durability of the Galaxy Z Trifold while ensuring the protection of its inner display at the same time. The foldable will have a thickness of 9.96 inches and the cover display will feature a size of 6.49 inches.
Going by earlier reports, the smartphone will support multiple charging capabilities. Apart from the standard charging options, it will feature support for reverse charging and wireless charging. The handset will also allow NFC payments.
The smartphone will incorporate a Split Trio feature that allows the apps to be displayed on three windows side-by-side. This will allow the user to access three apps at a time, with one app in each window.

Under the hood, the handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It will run on Android 16 topped with the brand’s One UI 8.x.
The smartphone will have three cameras on the back, along with a larger battery than the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
At present, the Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to be available only in South Korea and China.
