The Google Pixel 10 series has been making its way in the news in the past.
While an earlier leak cited that the lineup will have an earlier release when compared to the predecessor, a new report now makes us think otherwise. The same report also states that the series will comprise four models, namely, Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold. Another leak shows the design prototype of the Pixel 10 Pro with the codename ‘Blazer’ and its RAM and storage details.
Going by what the AndroidHeadlines report has to say, the brand will host a Made by Google event on the 20th of August, where it will launch the series. Sales will, however, commence a week later on the 28th. If this is true, the launch will take place around the same time as the earlier lineup.

Interestingly, the same source earlier stated that the launch was scheduled for an August 13th release, which falls in line with what a tipster Arsene Lupin posted on the popular X platform. However, Android Headline appears to have revealed the revised date after checking with other sources.
Expected Pixel 10 Series Details
On the design front, it is not likely that Google will opt for major changes for the lineup when compared to the earlier series.
All smartphones in the Pixel 10 series will incorporate flicker reduction and PWM dimming for their displays. This will ensure less strain on the eyes for users.
The Pixel 9 will have a slight camera change when compared to the earlier Pixel 8. It may house a telephoto lens with support for optical zoom. On the other hand, the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL will have no camera changes.

The lineup will house the brand’s Tensor G5 octa-core processor. For the first time, Google will turn to TSMC instead of Samsung to manufacture the chipset. As a result, the modem is likely to be a MediaTek modem that offers better thermals and performance. The Design Validation Test prototype of the Pixel 10 Pro prototype reveals that the smartphone will have 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
As the Android 16 release is around the corner, the Google Pixel 10 series will come with this version of Android preinstalled.
