Google is working on adding the Pixel 9a to its “Pixel 9” series.
This series is noted for its perfect balance of affordability and performance combined with an excellent Android experience. As the launch date draws to a close, there are five ways the Pixel 9a is bound to be better than the Pixel 8a predecessor.
Major Upgrades
The smartphone will come with the manufacturer’s Tensor G4 processor, which is exclusively designed for Pixel smartphones under its hood. This processor will not only help the handset deliver enhanced AI capabilities but also boost the overall power efficiency by 20%.

The Pixel 9a will have a larger battery with better charging support than the Pixel 8a. The smartphone will house a 5,100 mAh battery with 23 W wired rapid charging support while the predecessor came with a 4,492 battery supporting 18 W wired fast charging.
The handset will have a 48 MP main camera. While the resolution is less than that of the Pixel 8a, the upcoming smartphone will have a bigger f/1.7 aperture. There will also be an ultra-wide angle lens with a resolution of 13 MP. Both shooters will deliver enhanced image quality with a horde of photography tools. There will be a Sony IMX712 13 MP selfie camera.
The Google Pixel 9a will have more advanced features than before. These include better compatibility with Google’s services, extended camera compatibility, and enhanced intuitive voice assistance.

The smartphone will portray an overall design change that makes it look like the other more expensive smartphones in the series. One noteworthy change will be the revamped visor kind of design and the cameras arranged in a pill-shaped design on the back. The handset will come in four different colors and have a flat back.
The Google Pixel 9a is expected to break cover towards the end of March this year.
