Prominent insider and leaker Tez2 believes the new announcement could either be about GTA 5 or GTA 6.
A while back, Rockstar Games confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will release in the fall of 2025. Though a specific date was not provided by Rockstar Games, this confirmation was enough to get the fans feeling excited. After this confirmation, however, fans were looking forward to Rockstar sharing some fresh update about the game. That has not happened as yet.
Tez2, who has a reputation for being a highly reliable insider and data miner when it comes to Rockstar Games, has just stated that an announcement about GTA 6 might happen soon. As per Tez2, this announcement could either be about GTA 6 or a GTA 5 update. Rockstar is known for rolling out a weekly update for the multiplayer version of GTA 5 every Thursday. A couple of hours after doing so, it shares a Newswire post. The leaker spoke about it recently on an online forum.
In November 2024, Rockstar Games announced that the exclusive multiplayer features of this version were arriving on PC. That, however, has not happened as yet. Fans are waiting for Rockstar to fulfill this promise.

If Tez2 is to be believed, the developer might have started the process of putting together an announcement article. Through this article, they might make an announcement about the new features arriving on PC or a Community Update that could offer some crucial information on GAT 6.
In January 2022, ardent fans would remember, Rockstar shared a GAT Online weekly update Newswire post on Friday. It went against its age-old tradition of sharing such an update on Thursday. On February 4, 2022, fans stumbled upon a Community Update offering key details about GAT 5’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.
The aforementioned version is expected to come equipped with exclusive features. Rockstar had earlier announced that it will bring some features pertaining to GTA Online to PCs this year.

On February 6 this year, Take-Two Interactive is all set to have an earnings call. Fans expect an important announcement to come through around this time. Before the November 2023 earnings call, Rockstar announced that the first trailer of GTA 6 would be released soon. During this earnings call, there is also the possibility that the gaming company will make an important announcement.
