GTA 6 Fans Are Happy With Game’s Emphasis on Music

GTA 6 Emphasis on Music

GTA 6 might showcase the music industry and several characters related to it prominently.

When Rockstar Games confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been pushed to next year, it left a lot of fans feeling disappointed. However, with time, they were able to see the logic in this. Most fans realized that it would be better to have a well-finished game arriving a little late than being served with an under-cooked game early.

Not just fans, the entire gaming industry is looking forward to the arrival of GTA 6. While the overall quality of the game will drive its success, one can expect it to break several records in the initial days of its release. Apart from making those fans happy who had been waiting for it since a long time, GTA 6 should also provide a big boost to the gaming industry. The rumored budget of the game is 2 billion dollars and it is, without a doubt, one of the most expensive games to have been made.

Till now, one has seen two trailers of GTA 6 releasing. While there is still very little information about the game, what one knows is that the music industry will play an important role in its narrative.

Ever since GTA Online was launched, one has seen it rolling out fresh content updates at regular intervals. One of the special missions that everybody seems to have taken note of is The Contract.

As a special mission, The Contract marked the arrival of real-life hip-hop stars Dr. Dre and Anderson Paak to GTA Online. In this mission, players will be required to trace the missing phone of Dr. Dre. As they move forward, players will find themselves back in the studio where they will see Dr. Dre and Anderson Paak jamming and recording a song together. What comes across as an interesting cameo could pave the way for GTA 6’s Only Raw Records.

Rockstar just shared character details for GTA 6. Two prominent characters that will be featuring in the game are Dre’Quan Priest and Boobie Ike. Priest serves as the manager of Only Raw Records. Ike, on the other hand, is one of the primary investors in the business.

Given the fact that rapper Real Dimez had been wanting to get some serious recognition as a musician, Only Raw Records should play an important role in propelling the narrative forward.

Since Rockstar itself has unveiled the names of Priest, Ike and Real Dimez, one has to assume that they are important to the narrative. Fans would, of course, be interested to see how the main crime story of GTA 6 crosses paths with the music industry.  Based on the interactions in online forums, one can safely assume that fans are quite happy with music being prioritized in GTA 6.
