The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console could get a major boost by making GTA 6 available to its users.

Once Rockstar Games confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 would arrive in the fall of 2025, fans became quite certain about it not getting pushed to the next year. Grand Theft Auto 5 came out in 2013 and it has been more than a decade since one saw a gaming title released as a part of the franchise. While there is a lot of hype around the game, the studio has decided to remain silent and seems to have taken the call not to share any important details or updates about the game.

In the recent past, one has witnessed a lot of discussions happening around GTA 6. While some fans have been concerned about it not releasing on all major platforms at the same time, the discussions around the graphics in the game have picked up steam in several online communities. Since GTA 6 is the most awaited title in recent times, most fans are of the opinion that its release should not be restricted just to a few platforms.

Launched in early 2017, Nintendo Switch has made a name for itself as one of the most successful consoles of all time. The console continues to be lapped up by gamers across the globe and has enabled Nintendo to earn big profits. While Nintendo has received a lot of accolades for its mobility, the console has also been criticized for not delivering the kind of performance as some of the other traditional consoles. Ever since fans got a whiff of Nintendo working towards developing Switch 2, they hoped that it would feature improved hardware and deliver better performance.

Nintendo Switch 2’s reveal presentation gave some idea about the kind of hardware it will feature. Some of the reports, which one came across in the recent past, stated that Switch 2 is designed to be 10 times more robust and powerful than its predecessor. As per the reports, the power exhibited by the Switch 2 would be equal to or similar to that of a PS4 or PS4 Pro. If the reports turn out to be accurate, fans will get a highly powerful and modern console to play with.

A while back, one came across an announcement about the Elder Ring getting a Nintendo Switch 2 port in 2025. This port, as per the reports, would be called the Tarnished Edition.
