Rockstar Games has finally made a formal announcement about the GTA 6 launch date being set in the fall of 2025. This information was revealed by Take-Two Interactive during a shareholders meeting. Recently, one came across rumors which suggested that GTA 6’s release date could be deferred to 2026. While many fans dismissed these rumors, there were some who took it seriously and felt disappointed about the fact that they will have to wait longer for the film to release.

The GTA 6 launch date continues to be a subject of discussion in the online gaming community. While Rockstar has made it clear that it will be unveiling the game in the fall of 2025, the gaming studio has not shared a release date as yet. Once the release date is announced, fans will feel a little more assured. There will be less anxiety as they will be sure as to when the game will be releasing.

Vice City, this time, will be a part of Leonida, a fictional state. As per an official statement by Rockstar Games, GTA 6 will be the “biggest and most immersive evolution of Grand Theft Auto yet”.

The trailer, which was launched in December last year, featured snippets of Starfish Island and a few other locations that one will get to explore in the game. Players can look forward to exploring a vast landscape, being a part of exciting adventures and interacting with several exciting characters.
While discussions around the GTA 6 launch date will continue to happen, one of the things players are truly excited about is the introduction of new protagonists in the form of Jason and Lucia. The introduction of Lucia is rather special as she will be the first-ever female protagonist in a GAT game. Based on the footage and reports one has come across so far, there is a good possibility of the two characters being modeled on the popular fictional duo Bonnie and Clyde.
