As per recent reports, GTA 6 will feature several interesting water-based effects.
Once Rockstar Games confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be arriving on 26 May 2026, fans were finally relieved to see that the game finally had a definite release date. The game is all set to be launched on all leading consoles, including Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Though GTA fans would not have to wait too long to witness the arrival of the game, they still wish to know something about it right now.
As is the case with any other title by Rockstar Games, most of the information pertaining to GTA 6 is being kept under wraps. That being said, one must appreciate Rockstar for releasing two trailers for the game, which gave fans some idea about what they should expect from it.
In the last few years, leakers have been the primary source of all news and information related to GTA 6. The two trailers corroborated some of the information shared by these leakers and insiders. Once the game gets an official launch, one will be able to figure out the extent to which the leakers and insiders got their information right.

As per an X post, which has now been deleted, GTA 6 is all set to showcase “the most realistic water physics ever seen in a video game”. More often than not, the water physics used in a game gives one a good idea about the quality or scale of graphics in a game.
According to the reports, the studio has put together a team comprising 20 engineers who are working on the water physics modelling of GTA 6 in a focused and dedicated manner. A budget of $200-300 million seems to have been set aside for this purpose.
