At the moment, the only thing one knows about the GTA 6 release date is that it will be out sometime in the fall of 2025. While no specific GTA 6 2025 release date has been mentioned by Rockstar Games yet, the gaming studio has assured fans that the game will definitely see the light of day this year.
Despite all the assurances given by Rockstar Games, some fans remain speculative about the GTA 6 2025 release date. Many continue to be of the opinion that Rockstar will not be able to meet the deadline and the game will get pushed further to 2026.

The latest PlayStation State of Play brought in fresh information about Borderlands 4. On September 23, the much-awaited RPG will finally get a full-fledged release. The game will be launching shortly after the 12th anniversary of GTA 5.

The Borderlands franchise is owned, published and managed by Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games. Because of this, most people believed that it would avoid clashing with GTA 6. Now that Borderlands 4 is scheduled for a September 23 release, one is quite sure that GTA 6 will not be arriving the same month.
The game, in all probability, could be released towards the end of October or in the early days of November. Since Rockstar launched Red Dead Redemption 2 in October 2018 and saw it doing very well, there is a good chance of the studio deciding to roll out GTA 6 in the same month this year.
