Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick’s statements have made fans hopeful about the fact that the long wait for GTA 6 will be worth it!
On 5 December 2023, Rockstar Games launched the first official trailer of Grand Theft Auto 6. The trailer received millions of views just a few minutes after it was released. The one-minute and thirty-one-second long trailer offered fans a glimpse into the vast and dynamic world of GTA 6 and gave them an idea about what they can expect from the much-awaited game.
After the launch of the first trailer, fans started looking forward to Rockstar sharing another important update about GTA 6. Since there was a lot of time for the game to be released, fans hoped that Rockstar would release a second trailer for the game.

During the recently held The Game Awards, one expected Rockstar Games to share some updates about the game. Many believed the game would get a grand reveal during this event. However, no such thing happened. Now, Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has dropped a hint about the development process of GTA 6.

Recently, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick engaged in a conversation with Connor Mather, who happens to be a TikTok sensation. While speaking about GTA 6, Zelnick described it as ‘extraordinary’. Zelnick stated, “I think it will be extraordinary and worth waiting for”. He further said that the team is driven towards incorporating elements that fans have not seen in the past.
All the games released as a part of the GTA franchise have been hugely successful. GTA 5, the last game to have been released as a part of the franchise, has secured a place for itself in the list of one of the most successful gaming titles of all time. Till November 2024, GTA 5 has sold more than 200 million units globally.

Zelnick has created a lot of excitement in the gaming community by stating that the game would be more exciting and beautiful than everybody imagines it to be. Given the high expectations surrounding the game, one would not expect Zelnick to make a statement that would be far from the truth.
For a while now, fans have been waiting for Rockstar to share some updates about the second trailer for GTA 6. While no update or information about the second trailer has come one’s way, fans should celebrate the fact that somebody from the team has finally commented on the game. Based on Zelnick’s statements, one can be pretty sure about the fact that GTA 6 would be high in quality and meet the expectations fans have, whenever the company announces the official release date for the game.
