As per Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, GTA 6 will definitely be released in 2025!
A while back, Rockstar Games had confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 would be launched in 2025. While the gaming studio did not get into the specifics of a GTA 6 release window, it confirmed that the game would arrive in the fall of 2025.
Despite Rockstar coming up with the aforementioned confirmation, fans were still feeling skeptical about the studio living up to its word. There were a couple of reasons behind that. Firstly, GTA 6 has been one of the most awaited games of all time. Rockstar had already spent a lot of time, money and energy in developing it. With the kind of expectations attached to it, Rockstar would not make the mistake of offering fans something that would be mediocre or underwhelming.

Some fans were of the belief that Rockstar could need more time to develop the game and therefore, it would not come out in 2025. Since the studio had not specified a definite release date for the game, fans had another reason to believe the game will not be made available to them this year.
Those who were worried about Rockstar not releasing in 2025 can now heave a sigh of relief Strauss Zelnick, who serves as the CEO of Rockstar Games, was recently speaking to a publication ahead of the latest financial report’s release. During the conversation, Zelnick was asked a question about the GTA 6 release window. whether he feels confident about GTA 6 releasing in the fall of 2025. Replying to this, the CEO said that “we really feel good about it”.
While speaking to the publication, Zelnick acknowledged the fact that GTA 6 is a highly anticipated title owing to the fact that Rockstar Games is associated with a sense of perfectionism. The CEO further stated that the entire team is “running scared” as it is aware of the huge expectations associated with the game and working very hard towards fulfilling them.

For the longest time, the GTA 6 release window has been one of the most intensely discussed topics in the online gaming community. Not just the gaming community, rival gaming studios, too, are keen to get some information on the release date of GTA 6. A couple of days back, Andrew Wilson, who serves as the CEO at Electronic Arts, stated that they could push the release of the new Battlefield game further depending on the release of major titles scheduled to come out this year.
The statement given by Zelnick clears all the doubts one had pertaining to the GTA 6 release window. While one still does not know when exactly the game will release, one can be certain about GTA 6 releasing in fall this year. At the moment, a lot of fans are also expecting Rockstar Games to launch a second trailer for the game.
