As per YouTuber DarkSpace, fans will get to explore a massive virtual world in GTA 6!
After the launch of the first trailer of Grand Theft Auto 6, fans started looking forward to Rockstar Games sharing some important information about the game. While that did not happen for the longest time, a while back the gaming publisher confirmed that the sixth installment in the GTA franchise will release in the fall of 2025.
Since the release of GTA 6 is just a few months away, the excitement around it is growing with each passing day. Contrary to what fans had been expecting, Rockstar has not released a second trailer for GTA 6. Of course, there is a possibility of a second GTA 6 trailer coming out but one is not sure when that will happen.

In the meantime, many leakers and insiders have stepped forward with several theories pertaining to GTA 6. Recently, a prominent YouTuber claimed that the map for GTA 6 will be almost double the size of GTA 5.
YouTuber DarkSpace released a new video on their channel to analyze and share their thoughts on recent leaks pertaining to GTA 6. While creating this video, they made an attempt to recreate the map of the game and named it ‘Leonida’. DarkSpace compared this reimagined map to the map of Los Santos in GTA 5. Through their efforts, DarkSpace tried to provide some insight about the visual representation of the GTA 6 map.
Though the video does not give one an idea about the final graphical quality of the map, it does offer a glimpse into the vastness of the open world in the game. While Rockstar has not commented on any of the GTA 6 leaked screenshots as yet, the material that has come to the fore indicates that the GTA 6 map will be much bigger than the GTA 5 map.
The map imagined by DarkSpace might not be accurate or close to how the GTA 6 map eventually is going to be like but it does substantiate some of the theories floating around the game’s map for a while. Since the last two years, ever since Rockstar confirmed that it was working on the next iteration of the GTA franchise, fans on Reddit and other online communities have been constantly analyzing the various rumors and theories floating around the game.

Based on the theories that have appeared online, a large section of the GTA fan community is of the belief that GTA 6 will feature a huge map that will be bigger than any of the maps one has come across in the GTA games so far. According to a Reddit user who identified themselves as Denso95, 80 GB was the file size of the GTA 6 developer build. The overall size of the final could be higher than 200 GB. This indicates the features and maps in the game will be bigger than the ones we stumbled upon in the older GTA games.
At the moment, Rockstar has not addressed any of these leaks and rumors. However, based on all the information one has received so far, there is a strong possibility of GTA 6 offering fans the opportunity to explore a vast virtual world. While the trailer confirmed that GTA 6 will feature Vice City, fans are having extensive discussions on all the other locations they will get to explore in the game.
