Fans are quite excited at the prospect of a GTA Online successor or GTA Online 2 being developed. Through continuous updates and progressive changes, Rockstar has ensured that GTA Online feels fresh to the players. However, since the game has been around for more than a decade, fans have been wanting to see a new edition of GTA Online coming to the fore.

Though Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will arrive in the fall of 2025, it continues to be a game that one does not know much about. Last year, Rockstar unveiled the first trailer of the game which introduced one to the protagonists in the game. It also gave fans an idea about the kind of world and gameplay GTA 6 will have. While fans were quite satisfied with the trailer, they had been wanting to know more about the game.

GTA 5 was launched on 17 September 2013. A few days later, on 1 October, GTA Online was released. While GTA 5 emerged as one of the most successful gaming titles of all time, GTA Online, too, became a highly popular game. The popularity of these games has grown with time and until GTA 6 arrives, one expects their fan base to continue expanding. Rockstar has not shared any update on GTA Online 2. It has not even confirmed its existence. However, there is a possibility of the gaming company working on developing the game in a secretive manner. For the longest time, it did not even confirm that it was working on GTA 6. Based on the way Rockstar is known to operate, one has reasons to be hopeful.
