2025 will be the year when fans will finally see their wish fulfilled!
For a very long time, fans were wondering when they would get to see Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 console features in the PC version of GTA Online. Rockstar Games has finally confirmed that the PC version will get these features next year.
When a GTA Online community update rolled out today, one stumbled upon a message in it that confirmed the aforementioned development. “There is still much to come”, said the message by Rockstar. According to this announcement, fans will get to witness several weekly special events and bonuses in the near future. It also confirmed that the new year will mark the arrival of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S features of GTA Online to the PC version.
The features being referred to here are the ones that were a part of the enhanced release of GTA 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles that were rolled out two years back. From graphics setting enhancements to brand-new features, there is a lot that one got to see back in 2022. While some fans were happy with the quality-of-life improvements, some were delighted with the new vehicle upgrades.

The character transfer features caught the attention of many as well. These features made it possible for players to transfer GTA Online characters and story mode progress from older-gen systems to current-gen consoles. This gives one hope that one would get the opportunity to transfer progress to PC as well.
Right now, the entire GTA fan community is looking forward to the arrival of GTA 6. Rockstar has already confirmed that the game will be released in the fall of 2025. Since GTA 6 remains several months away from its release, one can look forward to Rockstar releasing several more updates for GTA 5 and GTA Online to keep the players engaged.
