The GTA Online birthday gift will be given to players who have been with the game since its inception.
On October 1, 2013, Grand Theft Auto Online was launched by Rockstar Games. It came close on the heels of another GTA game, Grand Theft Auto 5, which went on to rewrite gaming history by emerging as one of the most successful gaming titles of all time. For more than a decade now, Rockstar has made sustained efforts towards updating the game and ensuring that players never get bored of it.

As GTA Online celebrates 11 years of its existence, Rockstar Games has rolled out a new birthday gift for its loyal fans. This special gift will be given to those who have been playing the game consistently ever since it was launched. If you are somebody who started playing the game recently, you should not expect this gift to come your way.
Players have time from October 1 to the coming weeks of the month to log into GTA Online with a character that was brought to life 11 years ago. The players will get a reward in the form of a purple party hat with the number 11. This hat can be traced in the Party Hats section of the wardrobe of the player or the Interaction Menu. As a part of the ongoing celebrations, players will also get firework ammunition.
The purple party hat, at the moment, is only exclusively for those who tried out the game on its release day itself. If a player started playing the game a little late, they can be expected to be rewarded on some other date. For a long time, GTA Online has been working towards bringing commemorative items to the game for long-time players. Last winter, some of these items were introduced in the game as a part of the ‘The Chop Shop’ update.

Players, who wish to know about the anniversary date of their character, have the option of having a look at their creation game within the game. All they need to do is pause the game, go to the Stats tab and then, scroll to the General section found on the right-hand side to know about the original creation date of their character.
In the near future, GTA Online will continue to celebrate annual milestones. Recently, an X user pointed out a glitch that indicated that GTA Online will provide party hats to fans for anniversaries of up to 15 years.
