The newly launched Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode has attracted a large number of players towards it.
Rockstar Games recently added the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode to the game. After this mode was launched, different agencies started collecting data to check its reception. As per the data compiled, this game mode has proved to be a big hit with the players. One would expect Rockstar to be happy, but not surprised, with this response. For a very long time, fans have been making requests to Rockstar to give them an opportunity to explore North Yankton again. North Yankton, as fans would be aware, was the starting area in the story mode of Grand Theft Auto 5.
North Yankton is a snowy town that has captured the imagination of a large number of players for a long time. Apart from the opening sequence, the town was featured in the Bury the Hatched story mission in GTA 5. In this story mission, one witnessed Michael following Trevor to the Ludendorff Cemetery where a shootout happens and they are kidnapped by Triad members. Fans were quite disappointed by the fact that there is no other legitimate means to access North Yankton. While a few players managed to transport themselves to North Yankton through a glitch in GTA Online, these were not the kind of methods that one could rely on.

For this reason, fans were extremely excited when Rockstar made a formal announcement about its Halloween-themed survival mode that featured North Yankton. On October 10, the Luendorff Cemetery Survival mode was launched formally. According to data derived from GTAO Stats, more than 400,000 GTA Online players explored the mode in the first 24 hours after it was launched. After three days, more than 1.3 million players. All this led to the Luendorff Cemetery Survival mode emerging as one of the most played modes in GTA Online ever.
400,000 players have played the new Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode within 24 hours, marking a 270% increase over the player count for the Assault on ATT-16 mode during the same period.

Tez2, who happens to be one of the most prominent Rockstar Games insiders, spoke about the popularity of this game mode in a recently posted tweet. They pointed out that the Halloween mode made its debut with 270% more players than Assault on ATT-16, the GTA Online mode that was launched last. The launch of ATT-16 didn’t happen at the best time. When the mode was launched, Rockstar ended up removing a plethora of GTA Online content. This led to a lot of fans getting upset.
