After the launch of the Magic 7 series recently in China, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is likely to add a new smartphone Magic 7 Lite to the lineup.
The handset has been listed on the Google Play Console and Google Play Supported Devices databases. It is expected to be the successor to the Honor Magic 6 Lite.
Google Play Console Listing Details
The Google Play Console listing explicitly mentions the name of the smartphone along with its model number HNBRP-Q1. It also portrays the front panel of the handset giving an insight into its design. The same listing also shares some details about the handset while the details related to the camera and storage capacity are still under wraps.
The Magic 7 Lite will encompass an FHD+ resolution and a resolution of 1224 x 2700 and 520 DPI screen density. The smartphone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset under the hood along with an Adreno 619 GPU. It will also feature 12 GB RAM and Android 14 out of the box.
Rebranded Honor X9c
Interestingly, the Magic 7 Lite shares its model number with the Honor X9c which was launched in Malaysia recently. Both handsets also have the same screen resolution. Their front renders are also similar. This could mean that the upcoming smartphone is an X9c rebranding intended for the regional market. If so, the handset is likely to feature a large OLED 6.78-inch curved display, a huge 6600 mAh battery, and a robust build supporting a drop resistance of 2.2 meters.
