Honor is working on launching the Honor X9c Smart after the global release of its X9c 5G.
A recent Google Play Console listing features the smartphone on the database. The listing gives an understanding of some key specifications and the front render of the handset that has been listed on the manufacturer’s Malaysia-based website.

The smartphone has been listed on the Google Play Console database with its moniker Honor X9c Smart and model number BRC-NX1.

The listing mentions that the X9c Smart will house an octa-core MediaTek MT6855 processor, with a primary clocking frequency of 2.2 GHz under its hood. The manufacturer’s Malaysia-based website reveals that the chipset will be a Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor from MediaTek. There will also be an IMG BXM-8-256 GPU.
While multiple RAM options may be available, the smartphone has been listed with 8 GB RAM on the Google Play Console listing. The handset comes with Android 14 preinstalled. The Malaysian website adds that there will be 256 GB of internal storage.

According to the listing, the smartphone will have a resolution of 1080 x 2412 and a pixel density of 480 ppi for its display. The screen size and type have not been mentioned. However, going by the manufacturer’s website, it is expected that the smartphone will have a TFT LCD FHD+ flat display with a screen size of 6.8 inches and 120 Hz refresh rate.

The front render of the handset reveals grey or silver as one of the available control options. The smartphone will have a flat display along with a slightly thick chin and thin bezels. The power button and volume rocker will be a part of the right panel. There will be a punch-hole cutout in the center at the top of the display for the selfie camera.
The fact that the Honor X9c Smart has been listed on the Google Play Console database is an indication that its launch date is likely to be around the corner.
