The Huawei Mate XT has taken the foldable smartphone market to a new level with its tri-fold design.
Following the release in China way back in September 2024, the manufacturer is now gearing toward the global launch of the Mate XT. In this regard, the smartphone with model number GRL-LX9 has been listed on the UAE-based TDRA certification platform.

The listing on the TDRA Certification platform reveals the moniker of the smartphone Huawei Mate XT with the model number GRL-LX9.

However, no other specs are mentioned. Hence, the global variant is likely to feature the same features as the already-released handset.
Huawei Mate XT Specifications
The Mate XT has a 6.4-inch display in the closed state that increases to 7.9 inches when it is operated in the two-screen mode. In the completely unfolded state, the screen size is maximum and unfolded with a 10.2-inch display. The display features an LTPO OLED panel with a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, a 440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
On the rear, the smartphone has three cameras with a 50 MP primary snapper featuring OIS and a variable aperture along with a periscope telephoto lens and an ultra-wide lens featuring a 12 MP resolution for each shooter. The front-facing camera for selfies and video calls is an 8 MP camera.

The Mate XT is equipped with a 5,600 mAh battery. This battery supports 50 W wireless charging and 66 W wired charging.
The smartphone will have a Kirin 9010 chip along with RAM and storage of 16 GB and 1 TB respectively.
The Huawei Mate XT is slated to be released globally in the next couple of months. When the handset was launched in China in September 2024, it was rumored that the global variant would be released in Q1 2025.
