Several details about the iPhone 17 series, including the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro, have been leaked in the past.
Some of them have been confirmed by the manufacturer, while others are still speculations. A listing on an Amazon store by a popular smartphone case manufacturer now affirms the fact that the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro will have 6.3-inch displays. This fails in line with an earlier statement about the handsets having displays of the same size.

The listing talks about a tempered glass screen protector guard from Spigen for the iPhone 16 Pro, 17, and 17 Pro. For the unversed, the iPhone 16 Pro has a 6.3-inch display.
Expected Specs
All four smartphones in the iPhone 17 series will incorporate LTPO OLED displays with ProMotion technology and a 120 Hz refresh rate. They will also have an anti-reflective screen coating and an Always-On display.
The Pro variants will house the brand’s A19 Pro processor whereas the base variant will have an A19 processor. The iPhone 17 will also house 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the iPhone 17 Air will incorporate the manufacturer’s in-house modem while others have a Qualcomm modem.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 48 MP telephoto lens along with wide and ultra-wide cameras on the back. In contrast, the iPhone 17 Air will house only a 48 MP camera. The selfie camera will see an upgrade in all the handsets with a 24 MP shooter. While the iPhone 17 has a vertical camera setup on the back, the others will have a vertical camera layout.

The battery life and charging speeds are likely to remain unchanged in the lineup. The series will support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
For the first time, the iPhone 17 series will do away with the Plus model and have an Air model in its place. The lineup is anticipated to break cover in September 2025.
