While it’s just a couple of months since Apple launched the iPhone 16 series, rumors are abuzz about the forthcoming iPhone 17 lineup.

This lineup is expected to include the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, Pro Max, and Slim. The iPhone Slim is slated to arrive as a replacement for the Plus variant.

The leaked rumors have revealed some details of what can be expected in the iPhone 17 series. The latest leak gives an insight into the display featured in the series.

LTPO Display for the Full Lineup

Going by an ET News report, all iPhone 17 variants will comprise displays with a high refresh rate. The report claims that the smartphones will house a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Interestingly, this display has been offered by Apple only in the Pro and Pro Max models so far.

Apple is expected to rely on South Korean companies such as LG Display and Samsung Display for the procurement of its OLED display panels. While Samsung Display is anticipated to deliver the displays for all the handsets in the lineup, LG Display will supply the panels for the iPhone 17, iPhone Pro Max, and iPhone 17 Slim models.

Other iPhone 17 Series Expected Specifications

According to earlier rumors, the series is likely to utilize a 3 nm process node from TSMC. The Slim variant is said to house the manufacturer’s A19 processor under its hood.

The iPhone 17 Slim is anticipated to have a display size of 6.6 inches and a compact design when compared to the other handsets in the lineup.
