A week ago, there was a report that the iPhone 17 Pro would have a camera visor that bears a striking resemblance to that of a Pixel smartphone.
Now, a new leak from China says that this will not be so. This iPhone 17 Pro leak indicates that Apple is unlikely to opt for a design change.
Triangular Setup for Rear Cameras
According to the tipster, although his/her sources told him that the manufacturer had revised the design of the rear panel, the triple-camera setup remains unchanged. The three cameras will be arranged in a familiar triangular setup without the camera island. He explicitly states that the cameras will not be arranged in a horizontal strip or bar.

The changes will not be significant although the cameras in all the smartphones in the iPhone 17 lineup including the iPhone 17 Pro have been redesigned.
Current Camera Layout
Apple has retained the present camera layout in its Pro handsets ever since 2019. The iPhone 11 Pro was the first Pro variant to feature the triangular camera setup.
In this setup, the cameras are arranged in two vertical lines. There are two cameras, one below the other, in one line and a single camera offset in the middle in the other line. The manufacturer prefers this alignment to include powerful shooters.

This is not the first time we are receiving controversial news regarding the iPhone 17 Pro. One of the reports that leaked earlier mentioned that Apple may opt for an aluminum frame for its Pro variants and do away with the titanium frame that has been in use for the past few years. Soon after this report came out, another news followed stating that this would not be the case and that the manufacturer would retain its titanium frame.
It is worth noting that although many leaks from the tipster have proved to be correct in the past, there is still a long wait of nine months before the iPhone 17 lineup goes off the shelves. Things could change during this long gap.
