Apple is working on a revamp of the back panel of its iPhone 17 Pro lineup and the other smartphones in the series.
As earlier reports state, one change will be the camera layout. The square camera island will give way to a rectangular camera module. We even saw an image from a supply chain showing the chassis of the iPhone Pro confirming this change. A new leak now reveals the specs of the iPhone 17 Pro series.
Noteworthy tipster Digital Chat Station has posted on Weibo the likely camera specs of the iPhone 17 Pro series. This report hints that the rear cameras will not be any different from those of the iPhone 16 Pro series, which may be disappointing for a few users. Interestingly, Apple made major changes to the cameras in the iPhone 16 Pro models.

However, the front camera will have a significant upgrade with a boost from a 12 MP resolution to a 24 MP resolution.
