It is unclear at this point which smartphone in the iPhone 17 lineup will be associated with the case shown in the image leak shared by tipster Majin Bu on the popular X platform. The case is unlikely to be related to the base variants in the series as earlier reports suggest that they will have two cameras.

The image also suggests that going by the way the camera module has been redesigned, the associated handset will be thinner than the earlier series and is likely to be the iPhone 17 Air or Slim.

There are rumors that this variant in the iPhone 17 series will feature a really slim profile. The camera module is a sleek and horizontal pill-like module instead of the standard square camera cutout.

If Apple adopts the new camera visor design and camera module for the iPhone 17 Air, it will be a major change hinting that Apple is looking out for ways to differentiate its Pro and non-Pro models in terms of design.

It is worth keeping in mind that there is no confirmation about the details mentioned above. This is because Apple has not made any official statement affirming the information. Moreover, the brand is known to test various prototypes before it narrows down on the final design.
