Apple is speeding up its work on the upcoming iPhone SE4.

This is the fourth-generation SE model from the manufacturer and will be launched as a follow-up to the earlier SE smartphone released in 2022. Quite a few interesting details have been doing the rounds about the upcoming handset in the past. The latest leak gives a hint about the rear camera and launch timeframe of the iPhone SE 4.

Rear Camera of the iPhone SE 4

According to a post by tipster Jukanlosreve on the popular X platform citing a report on a South Korean platform, the iPhone SE 4 will have only one camera on its back panel. The manufacturer is partnering with LG Innotek for the camera module supply. According to records, LG is known to supply the camera modules three months prior to a smartphone release.

The rear camera is expected to have a resolution of 48 MP and a Sony Exmor IMX904 lens. If this is true, it will be a big leap from the snapper in the earlier SE handset that had a resolution of 12 MP. Although not mentioned by the tipster, the handset will have a 12 MP camera in the front.

Other Expected iPhone SE4 Specifications

The iPhone SE 4 will be powered by the manufacturer’s A18 chipset under the hood and offer support for Apple Intelligence. The handset will encompass a LTPS OLED 6.06-inch display with 2532 x 1170 resolution, 800 nits, peak brightness, and 60 Hz refresh rate.

The tipster claims that mass production of the iPhone SE 4 will commence in December. This could mean that the handset will have a global launch in March 2025 release with a price tag ranging from USD 499 to USD 549.
