There have been various rumors going around about the upcoming iPhone SE 4 from Apple.

One of the most recent news was a leaked case image revealing the design of the budget smartphone. This has now been followed by a tipster sharing some vital specifications of the handset along with the expected launch date and price.

Expected iPhone SE4 Specifications

According to the information shared by Jukanlosreve, the manufacturer could incorporate its own 5G modem codenamed Centuari as part of its attempt to enhance efficiency and depend less on other suppliers. This would be one of the biggest internal changes implemented by Apple in the SE 4. The smartphone will mostly house the A18 processor found in the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. It will come with 8 GB RAM.

Apple is likely to do away with the standard LCD panel. Instead, it would opt for a LTPS OLED panel of size 6.06 inches. This panel will support 2532 x 1170 pixel resolution and 800 nits peak brightness. It will also offer FaceID support.

The iPhone SE 4 is slated to be powered by a 3,279 mAh battery. While this is relatively a small battery, it is a boost when compared to the 2,018 mAh battery of the iPhone SE 3 predecessor by about 62%. The battery will support up to 20 W wired charging, up to 15 W MagSafe wireless charging, and Qi2.

The camera details are also anticipated to be quite simple. The smartphone will have just one Sony Exmor IMX904 48 MP sensor on the back panel and a shooter with 12 MP resolution on the front.

The SE 4 will have a size of 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.8 mm. It features an IP 68 protection rating for water and dust resistance. The handset also incorporates the Ceramic Shield in its display panel for added durability.

The iPhone SE 4 release date is expected to be in the first quarter of 2025 in March. It is likely to be priced between USD 499 and USD 549.
