iPhone SE 4 to Feature a Notch Instead of Dynamic Island

Multiple reports of the iPhone SE 4 have emerged in the past revealing its design including the incorporation of the Dynamic Island found in many of the present-day iPhones.

However, a new leak has now emerged stating that this may actually not be the case. The handset will also have an Action button similar to that of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16.

According to a leak by noteworthy tech analyst Ross Young who is known for his accurate predictions, the iPhone SE 4 will come with a notch in place of the Dynamic Island.

For the unversed, the manufacturer introduced the notch way back in 2017 and the iPhone 14 Pro was the last smartphone to have this feature. All handsets after this have adopted the Dynamic Island.

Expected iPhone SE4 Specs

Going by earlier reports, the smartphone will have an LTPS OLED 6.06-inch display of 6.06 inches with an FHD+ 2532 x 1170 resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

The SE 4 will be powered by the manufacturer’s Apple A18 Bionic processor under the hood. This will be complemented by 8 GB RAM. It will be the first handset to make use of the manufacturer’s 5G modem.

The selfie camera in front will have a resolution of 24 MP. On the back, there will be just one main camera with a 48 MP resolution and an LED flash.

The smartphone will draw its juice from a 3,279 mAh battery under the hood and also offer support for Apple Intelligence.

It is rumored that the iPhone SE 4 will be rebranded as the iPhone 16e. While Apple has not officially revealed the launch timeframe, there are talks that the launch will take place by March this year. The handset is slated to feature a price tag of USD 500.
