There have been various leaks about the upcoming iQOO 13 in China over the last couple of weeks.
A new post has now come up on the popular Weibo platform by none other than the Vice President of Vivo Brand and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, Jia Jingdong. His post confirms several iQOO 13 specs.
2K Q10 Everest Display
Vivo has joined hands with China-based BOE to opt for a 2K Q10 Everest display in the handset. Past leaks have indicated that the smartphone will house a flat OLED 6.82-inch display panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The display incorporates circularly polarized light eye protection technology that reduces strain on the eyes and offers superior color accuracy and brightness with minimum power consumption.
Processor Details
According to the Weibo post, the smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset from Qualcomm. This processor is expected to render major CPU, NPU, and GPU performance improvements.
The iQOO 13 will also incorporate a Q2 gaming chip developed by the manufacturer. This chip will deliver native 144 FPS gaming and 2K texture super-resolution at par with PCs.
Battery Capacity
The handset will be powered by a massive 6,150 mAh battery. The battery will feature third-generation silicon negative electrode technology and support for 120 W charging.
Other iQOO 13 specs
The smartphone will have a big 1016H haptics motor and two speakers. It will also support performance allocation and advanced tuning features for altering CPU and GPU frequencies depending on usage. The smartphone additionally encompasses an ultra-large 7K VC heat spreader for stable performance and a multi-layered graphene heat dissipation system.
The iQOO 13 will run on the manufacturer’s most recent OriginOS 5 with gaming-dedicated audio-visual configurations and enhanced AI capabilities. The smartphone is slated to be launched in India in early December.
