iQOO 13 (V2408A) Listed on 3C Certification and MIIT Platforms Before Its Official Launch

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO seems to be planning the official launch of its iQOO 13 soon. The flagship smartphone will arrive as the successor to the iQOO 12, which was launched last year in December.

The handset has just recently bagged the home country’s 3C and MIIT certifications. Although the databases do not confirm the name of the smartphone listed, it is anticipated to be the iQOO 13 only.

3C Certification Details

The iQOO 13 appeared on the 3C certification platform with the model number V2408A. According to the details listed, the smartphone will offer 100 W rapid charging support. This means that there will be a slight dip in comparison to the earlier iQOO 12 as the predecessor features a higher 120 W fast charging support. The listing also indicates that the handset will come with a charger.

MIIT Certification Details

The MIIT certification listing reveals very few details of the iQOO 13. The listing does not mention any model number for the smartphone. It just states that the handset will offer dual SIM and 5G support. There is also mention of the smartphone running on the Android operating system.

Expected iQOO Specifications

Based on information from various sources received so far, the iQOO 13 flagship is slated to encompass a 2K AMOLED 6.7inch display. The display is likely to incorporate a panel manufactured by BOE and a refresh rate of 144 Hz.

The smartphone is anticipated to be packed with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon Gen 4 chipset. This chipset is expected to be paired with an internal storage of 512 GB and a memory of 16 GB RAM.

As for the battery, leaks state that the handset will be packed with a huge 6,150 mAh battery. If this is true, this will be a big leap from the present iQOO 12 which supports a 5000 mAh battery.

It is worth keeping in mind that the manufacturer has officially not confirmed any specifications about the iQOO 13. Hence, all the specifications mentioned above must be considered with a grain of salt.
