iQOO Z9 Turbo+ To Be Powered By Dimensity 9300+ and A Huge 6,400 mAh Battery

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO made an official announcement regarding the announcement of the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ in the home market. The manufacturer has highlighted the design of the handset although it has not mentioned anything about the launch date and specifications.

Interestingly, some leakers from the home country have shared some insights about what can be expected from the handset. The leaks revealed so far indicate that the Vivo iQOO Z9 Turbo+ will be an enhancement over the predecessor, the Z9 Turbo which made its launch in the first half of the year. These specifications are still in the rumor stage and must be taken with a pinch of salt.

According to a leak by Panda is very bald, the Z9 Turbo+ will be powered by a 6,400 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging support. This is slightly bigger than the 6000 mAh battery in the Z9 Turbo with the same 80 W rapid charging support. The battery capacity has also been leaked by tipster Experience more.

The leak hints that the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ will house a Dimensity 9300+ chipset under the hood whilst the Z9 Turbo has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip.

The leak also indicates that the independent Turbo graphics chip will be replaced by a Q1 gaming chip developed by the manufacturer.

Dimensions and GPS

The leak by Tipster Panda is very bald says that both smartphones will have the same thickness irrespective of the difference in the battery size. However, the new handset will slightly heavier and weigh 199 g.

The above leak mentions that the Z9 Turbo+ will support dual-frequency GPS whilst the Z9 Turbo features single-frequency GPS.

Other Specifications

Earlier reports state that the Z9 Turbo+ may have a 50 MP primary shooter along with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. The smartphone could also encompass a 16 MP front-facing snapper.

The Z9 Turbo+ is slated to comprise a flat 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. However, tipster Experience more states that with the dual frequency GPS and the upgraded Q1 gaming chip, the Turbo+ will have 2K+ resolution.

The Vivo iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is speculated to run on Android 14 layered with the manufacturer’s OriginOS. The handset is likely to be priced at nearly 282 Yuan that is close to $282 in China.
