It is a huge achievement for a game to stay relevant after being around for 15 years. As a sandbox game, Minecraft has set several new benchmarks in this genre. That being said, some of the aspects of the game do appear a little dated. There have been issues with visual lighting and many have complained about the absence of proper lighting. The community, however, has come up with texture packs and shaders at regular intervals to enhance the overall look and vibe of the game.
A Reddit user, who goes by the username u/comerpapa, put up a bunch of images on the subreddit of the game showcasing the game running specific texture and shader packs.

In the pictures, one can see the blocky world being depicted in a completely different manner. The realistic shadows and texture look refreshingly different. One can see the game being played on a mobile device.

As per the original poster, the Karlsruhe texture pack and shaders have been used for the shadows and the sky. Another user brought to one’s attention the fact that the battery will drain out much faster if one runs the mod on a mobile device.

Another user pointed out that the Bedrock Edition will be able to load 3D models. The user further added that it would be possible to do 3D scans of different environments as well.
For a very long time, fans have been complaining about the elements in Minecraft that look outdated. The good news is that it is very much possible to give the game a facelift. After the launch of the Vibrant Visuals upgrade, Bedrock Edition players have been quite happy. With the community making some more effort and the developers rolling out a few more important updates, the game should be looking much better soon.
