A Redditor, who identifies themselves as u/Ultimate_Gamer7, recently shared a concept image on the subreddit page of the game and made a suggestion that could be of good use to the developers.

This particular image reflects how a new game mechanic should work towards enabling the linking of two or more minecarts with the help of a chain link. If this happens, one would be able to use the carts as a train. The developers recently launched the 24w33a snapshot that brought in some important alterations to the minecart. After the introduction of these changes, the minecart has become much faster and more vibrant. This is something players have acknowledged as well.
Reactions to Minecart Concept Image
Several people reacted to the concept. A particular Redditor, who goes by the username u/No_Protection4395, put forward a suggestion. They stated that right-clicking between the two minecarts should include a chain. Many Redditors responded positively to the idea. One of the other suggestions or ideas that Redditors came up with is that including a train comprising hopper minecarts or minecarts featuring a chest would be nice.
The inclusion of the feature would benefit players in several ways. Players who use minecarts with TNT or utilize them as TNT cannons would feel happy to get the opportunity to link multiple of these and launch a plethora of explosive cannons and create a lot of destruction.

Mojang Studios has a reputation for adding new items regularly. However, the gaming studio also gets criticized for not developing or fleshing out these items properly.
