The song is an offshoot of a tune that one heard in A Minecraft Movie.

Those playing Minecraft’s Bedrock Edition have a new update to check out. This new update has marked the arrival of a new music disc, which happens to be rare, and features the infamous Lava Chicken song. The update has also brought in multiple bug fixes and minor changes in the game.

Those playing the Java Edition of Minecraft have had the opportunity to try out this music disc ever since the 1.21.7 update of the version came out towards the end of June. Now, those playing the Bedrock Edition, too, have the chance to check out this rendition.

A Minecraft Movie, which came out in the month of April, became a success. The out-of-the-box setting of the film appealed to a large section of the audience and also paved the way for several memes to be created. Some of these memes continue to be circulated across the internet and remain immensely popular.

The aforementioned Lava Chicken song is based on a tune that was rendered by Jack Black in a scene in the film. This particular scene featured Steve making an attempt to cook chicken with the help of lava.

It is important to mention here that the in-game song does not feature the singing of Jack Black. It does, however, have the vocals from the Villager mob in Minecraft.

The track can be best described as a ‘chiptune’ version of the original track, which was put together by Hyper Potions. In the game, you can procure it by eliminating a Chicken Jockey.

Apart from this new music disc, the new update brings in fixes for bugs that had been affecting gameplay for a while. It has also introduced gamers to a bunch of minor but interesting quality-of-life alterations.
