One would also have the option of getting inside the control room and draining flood water into the shafts.
G-Cans have been recreated in Minecraft with the aim of making more people aware of the facility and how it plays a part in preventing disasters. The concrete tunnels in G-Cans cover a distance of 6 kilometers under Saitama Prefecture, which happens to be a part of the Greater Tokyo Area.

It has five shafts which do an effective job of capturing water from flood-prone rivers when the rainy season hits Japan. It also proves to be highly useful during the typhoon season. All the accumulated water gets discharged later into the Edogawa River and Tokyo Bay. G-cans were completed in the year 2006 after being through the construction process for almost a decade.
