Minecraft: Vibrant Visual Update for Bedrock Edition Launched

Minecraft Vibrant Visuals

While this update is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users, Nintendo Switch has been left out!

For a long time, one heard a lot about the Vibrant Visuals update designed for the game. The update has now finally been rolled out on a bunch of compatible consoles and devices. It is important to note here that this update will not be available on all platforms. Even the classic Minecraft: Java Edition will not be provided with this update.

Right from the time it started putting Minecraft together, Mojang Studios was sure about the fact that the visuals in the sandbox game will be one of its major highlights. Apart from offering players with a vast sandbox landscape, the game also gave them the opportunity to explore countless customization options.

The Vibrant Visuals update is available for those players who have been playing Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and some iOS and Android devices. As a part of the main Chase the Skies update, the Vibrant Visuals update is now available for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition players.

Among other things, Chase the Skies brings in Happy Ghast creatures into the overworld of the game. Players now have the opportunity to leash a chain of camels together in order to put together a resource-transporting caravan. With the help of the Player Locator HUD bar, players will also be able to track down their friends faster.

If you happen to play Minecraft on an older console like Xbox One or PlayStation 4, you will be required to switch on the Vibrant Visuals option manually using the video settings menu on the phone. By issuing a warning, Mojang has implicitly stated that “performance may degrade for these devices”. It must be mentioned here that the Vibrant Visuals upgrade is not compatible on splitscreen multiplayer, custom Worlds and Texture Packs.

A while back, Microsoft had made a promise to roll out a dedicated graphical upgrade for Minecraft. This promise was first made in the year 2017 when a trailer was launched for the Super Duper Graphics Pack, which got cancelled later.

Around that time, Mojang had stated that this upgrade would be available on Xbox One and ‘Project Scorpio’. The promise, to a great extent, has finally been fulfilled.
