Of course, we know that “dues” don’t matter in the gambling world. Blackjack, like most casino games, comes down to luck. And if you are out of luck, then it is best to walk away.
On the other hand, many people claim that you should never walk away during a winning streak. This misconception is so ingrained in our culture that we hear it quite frequently. The truth is, a winning streak is the best time to walk away. Knowing when to leave the table is just as much part of strategy, As Kenny Rogers stated; “You have to know when to walk away / and when to run.”
“Unskilled Players Hurt Your Chances”
Anyone who has played this game knows that there can be multiple players sitting at the same table. However, an interesting thing to note is that many players see the game as a “players vs. dealer” affair. The truth is that players are unrelated to one another. Each one is individually competing against the dealer.
That means that an unskilled player can’t hurt your chances of success, any more than a skilled player can improve your game. The only two people you should be worrying about when playing blackjack are the dealer and yourself. The rest will have no impact on your game.
