Motorola has finally announced the launch date of its Edge 50 Neo smartphone in the Indian subcontinent along with its specifications, features, and color options.
The smartphone made a global launch last month. The handset is part of the Motorola Edge 50 series, including the Motorola Edge 50, Edge 50 Ultra, and the Edge 50 Pro. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo will be the least expensive smartphone in the series.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo Flipkart Launch
The smartphone will be launched in India on September 16, 2024, through the online retailer Flipkart. There will be a flash sale that will last for an hour. The flash sale details will be announced on the day of the launch. It is expected that only the price will be revealed on the launch date as the retailer has already confirmed other details.
Design and Color Options
Flipkart has officially revealed that the Edge50 Neo will be available in the same four colors that it was available in across the globe. These colors are Pantone-certified Poinciana, Nautical Blue, Grisaille, and Latte. The smartphone has a vegan leather finish and an IP68 rating.
Motorola Edge50 Neo Specifications
The Edge 50 Neo has a pOLED 6.4-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K (2670 x 1220) resolution, and 3000 nits brightness. The display also has Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The smartphone has a triple camera setup at the back comprising a 50MP primary shooter with OIS, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 13MP ultra-wide/macro camera. There is a 32 MP camera in the front.
The device houses a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 chipset along with 512GB storage and 12GB RAM under the hood. It runs on Android 14 with Hello UI.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is powered by a 4,310mAh battery with 15W wireless charging and 68W wired fast charging. The MIL-STD 810H certified handset is very durable for accidental drops and in extreme temperatures. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port, NFC, and two speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
