Activision offers a glimpse into new content that will be arriving on Black Ops 6 with Season 2.
After making the players wait for a long time, Activision has finally unveiled the upcoming Season 2 content update. A particular multiplayer map is making fans reminisce about Black Ops 2 which came out in the year 2012. Scheduled to be launched on January 28, Season 2 will come equipped with two new multiplayer Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 map for players.
Next week, players will get to check out a lot of fresh content with the arrival of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 map. Activision, however, has also shared some information that most Warzone players would not be too happy with. The video game publisher has stated that it will be incorporating less content than originally planned in Warzone Season 2. This is because of the ongoing cheating issues and bugs affecting the game during Season 1.

At the moment, the studio seems to want to give priority to incorporating new gameplay improvements along with bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Instead of bombarding the game with a lot of content, the studio decided to improve the elements that already exist. Along with new Ranked Play rewards, players will come across a new Reactive Armor perk when Season 2 is launched on January 28.
Multiplayer fans, however, have a lot more to look forward to. Apart from seeing five new maps across the season, they will get to witness the arrival of several new weapons, modes and other content. Out of the two new maps that will be launched, one is Lifeline. It is a new 2v2/6v6 strike map that covers a small yacht. When you look at it for the first time, you might get the impression that Treyarch has re-introduced Hijacked from Black Ops 2. While this map has certain visual and stylistic similarities to Hijacked, it is a completely different map.
Though Hijacked made a comeback in Black Ops Cold War, one has not received any confirmation from Treyarch about the map featured in Black Ops 6. One, however, knows that Grind will be that Black Ops 2 map that will be back with the mid-season update.

This map is based on the skate park from Black Ops 2 and featured in the Revolution DLC pack of the game. Grind had emerged as an instant hit with players and even staged a comeback with Black Ops 4 which came out in 2018.
While the entire gaming community is excited about the new weapons that will be arriving on Black Ops 6 and Warzone with Season 2, fans can look forward to being occupied by several other interesting things. Activision has teased a “rip-roaring projectile armament” that will be launched later in the season. Based on the way this tease was worded, many players came to the conclusion that a popular weapon from Black Ops 3 could be back for Season 2: the D13 Sector. As fans would remember, this is a weapon that shoots ricocheting discs that have the capability of eliminating multiple enemies in one go.
