Oblivion Remake: Leaker Believes It Will Be Out Sooner Than Fans Imagine

The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion remake

While Bethesda refused to comment on the game, leakers believe it will be out this month!

Launched on 20 March 2006, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion emerged as a major success. The action role-playing game, which was put together by Bethesda Game Studios, was the fourth installment in The Elder Scrolls series and managed to live up to the huge expectations the gaming community had from it. While the open-world of the game appealed to most fans, many were also in awe of the way the characters were fleshed out.

Though Bethesda never confirmed anything from its end, fans have firmly believed in the notion that the studio has been working on a remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The prospect of an Oblivion remake happening would make any fan feel excited. However, in the absence of any fresh update or information from the studio, fans have had no option but to rely on rumors and unverified information.

A leaker, who identifies themselves as Detective Seeds, put up a post on X stating that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion could be out on April 3 or next week. Though April 3 is behind us, one still has the next week and the rest of the month to look forward to.

Since Detective Seeds has not been around for a long time, some fans are bound to question the authenticity of their claims. One must, however, point out that the information provided by the leaker has proved to be accurate on more than one occasion. The leaker has been right about the release date of PlayStation 5. His prediction about the DOOMS preview, too, turned out to be accurate. A while back, they had stated that there is a good possibility of the Ghost of Yotei being launched in July this year. One would not have to wait for too long to figure out whether this prediction will turn out to be true.

There are a few reasons why many would want to look at these claims made by the leaker with a lot of seriousness. NatetheHate and VideoGamesChronicle, who happen to be reputed insiders, had said that the Oblivion remake would get a launch in April. NatetheHate had further stated that there is a good chance of the game being shadow-dropped. What they meant is that the announcement and launch of the game could happen simultaneously.
