OnePlus is actively working on its next flagship, the OnePlus 15.
There have been some tip-offs in the past about a few specifications of the smartphone. A new leak has now jumped on the bandwagon with details on the rear cameras.
The new report has been put forward by noteworthy tipster Digital Chat Station in the form of a Weibo post. While the post indicates that the camera system is yet to be finalized, it contradicts an earlier report that cited the possibility of a 200 MP periscope shooter.
Expected Camera Details
The tipster claims that there will be three 50 MP cameras on the back, comprising a main snapper, a telephoto snapper with 3x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide lens. The post also states that two versions are being considered for the main and periscope cameras.

The two options for the main camera are an extra-large sensor and a large sensor. In contrast, the two sensors being considered for the periscope shooter are the small- and medium-sized sensor options. All options are at present in the AB testing phase.
Other Rumored OnePlus 15 Specs
Going by earlier reports, tests are being carried out to check the OnePlus 15 with a 1.5 K resolution and a flat display. If the brand decides to adopt this screen, it will be a big leap from the curved-edge display with a 2K resolution that all handsets starting from the OnePlus 7 Pro have seen so far.
The smartphone may pack a huge 6,500+ mAh battery that supports 100 W fast charging. There may be scope for 50 W wireless charging as well, just like the OnePlus 13 predecessor.
