The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will arrive as the smartphones in the Ace 5 lineup for the Chinese market.
Earlier reports hinted at the processor in both the OnePlus Ace 5 series handsets. A recent report now mentions some more specifications and the possible launch date of the Ace 5 duo.
Expected Specifications
According to the latest leak, the two smartphones will share a few similar specifications while there will be some noteworthy differences as well.

The Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will feature flat 6.78-inch X2 OLED panels from BOE with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5K.
The handsets are also expected to have the same camera setup on the back with three snappers comprising a main camera with a resolution of 50 MP and OIS support, an ultra-wide camera with a resolution of 8 MP, and a third camera with a 2 MP resolution. However, the primary camera is likely to be different with the manufacturer opting for a Sony IMX906 snapper for the Pro variant.
The Ace 5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset while the Ace 5 Pro will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor under its hood. Both smartphones support multiple RAM and storage combinations such as 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM and 1 TB B storage.

The handsets will have a metal frame in the center, an alert slider, and a short-focus fingerprint scanner. They will be available in a couple of ceramic color choices comprising Sky Blue Porcelain and White Moon Porcelain
While the company is yet to officially announce the launch date of the lineup, a Chinese retailer has specified a 26th of December deadline up to 14:30 on its reservation listing for the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. This hints that the date mentioned could be the date when the lineup will be released.
