The OnePlus Ace 5 lineup has been confirmed for a December launch by the manufacturer.

Following this, the president of OnePlus China Li Jie shared lifelike images of the base variant of the OnePlus Ace 5 smartphone, revealing its sleek profile and impressive display.

Front Design

The leaked images reveal the smartphone with very narrow bezels surrounding a flat display. It is likely that one option will be a ceramic black variant. The images also hint that the handset will feature a metal frame. There will be a punch-hole cutout on the front panel for the selfie camera.

Expected Specifications

Based on past reports, the Ace 5 will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. On the other hand, the Ace 5 Pro will house a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset under the hood. The base variant will also have 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage under the hood.

For the display, the smartphone will have a BOE X2 8T LTPO panel. This display will have a size of 6.78 inches along with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5K.

The Ace 5 will encompass a 50 MP main snapper with OIS, a 2 MP macro-sensor, and an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor on the back panel. The front panel will feature a 16 MP shooter. In contrast, the Ace 5 Pro will have an improved 2x telephoto shooter.

The handset will draw its juice from a huge 6,000 mAh battery. This battery will offer 100 W fast charging support. It will come with the manufacturer’s ColorOS 15 installed out of the box.

The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will arrive in China at the same time. The base variant is available in the global market with a rebranding as the OnePlus 13R with improved cameras.
