After the launch of the premium flagship OnePlus 13, the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus is now focusing on its affordable Ace 5 flagship lineup.
This comprises the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro smartphones. The latest leaks by a well-known tipster on China’s very own microblogging Weibo platform highlight the key specifications of the vanilla variant and what is anticipated from the Pro variant.
OnePlus Ace 5 Specifications (Expected)
Going by the post by Digital Chat Station, the smartphone will feature a maximum of 16 GB RAM plus 512 GB storage. The handset will incorporate a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. For the display, the Ace 5 will have a flat BOE X2 8T OLED 6.78-inch panel with with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution.
The back panel will sport a three-camera setup with 50 MP, 8 MP, and 2 MP resolutions for the shooters. In contrast, there will be a 16 MP camera in the front for selfies and video calls. The smartphone will be powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with rapid charging support of 100 W.
OnePlus Ace5 Pro Specs (Expected)
A recent leak indicates that the smartphone will have the same screen as that of the Ace 5. The rear cameras may include a Sony IMX906 50 MP primary shooter and a Samsung JN1 50 MP telephoto shooter.

The latest leak additionally hints that the handset will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and be the most economical handset this year with this chipset, thereby beating the record held by Realme GT 7 Pro so far. This means that the base model will have a price tag of around USD 465.
The OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to launch in China in late November or early December. On the other hand, the Pro variant may launch only in the middle of 2025. The Ace 5 may be available outside the country with the OnePlus 13R global rebranding while the Ace 5 Pro variant may remain exclusive to the home country.
